Blogosphere & µBloggin

BLOGOSPHERE
Blogs are not a web format that allow us for conversation between two or more users.
The interconnection of these blogs by topics (books, films, music....) by hypertext links is what we know as Blogosphere.
A website can only provide communication between publisher-subscriber. A blog lets us to communicate from one to several persons (with comments that allow the feedback). The Blogosphere allos us to keep multilple co
nversations using Permalinks. Blogosphere can be understood as a previous step of social networks as we know it today.
Permalink: Link assigned to each blog ent
ry to reference it. Thus we can identify a comment or content.

NETWORKS
Now we can connect different persons/blogs. A network is defined!
In small world networks every one is connected only with a few number of links. Low number of degrees (similar than Erdos concept). Then there is an hyper-connection.

BLOGS
-Temporal inverse ordering.
-Links
to other sides.
-Like a diary.

PAGERANK
Link analysis algorithm that assigns a numer according to the relevance of the documents found by a search engine.

FOLKSONOMIES VS. ONTOLOGIES
Social indexation. Simple tags without hierarchies that facilitate the classification. Easier to find topics. Ontologies are presented by the system.

RSS
Really Simple Syndication: Share actualized contents by XML to subscribers.
So simple and have consequences.

MASHUP
Start like a musical genre that consist in mix two or more music tracks in one, like a collage. In Web is an hybrid application formed from others (i.e: google places).

LINKED DATA
Exchange data through the URL

µBLOGGING
-Like Blogs but with less info (SMS length).
-Are unidireccional (Fan concept). Blogs are bidirectional.
-Mashups.
