Internet of Things (Part II )

6LoWPAN
IPv6 over Low-Power Wireless Area Networks is defined by IETF and stablish a stateless header compression with minimal use of code and memory. It have direct end-to-end internet integration with multiple topology options. It supports 64-bits and 16 bits addressing and have a network autoconfiguration using neighbor discovery.

RLP
Routing in Small Object Network is a protocol oriented to work in Low-Power and lossy networks. It specify how to build a destination oriented directed acyclic graph (DODAG). DODAG forms a set of paths and provide, if the topology permits, multiple options between a leaf and the DODAG root.

ISA100
Is a standard effort from the Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation
Society (ISA)and this group standardizes wireless systems for automation
It has been estimated that 55% of industry will support ISA100 in the next few years
